Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 1, 2026
Last Updated: September 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the C.T. Brayton & Sons, Inc. website and its online features.

Your use of this website is subject to these Terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the website.

These Terms apply to website use only. Separate bid instructions, invitations, nondisclosure agreements, project documents, employment documents, and signed contracts may contain additional terms. When a separate document conflicts with these Terms, that document controls the matter it covers.

General Website Information

This website provides general information about C.T. Brayton, including its services, delivery methods, projects, news, career opportunities, and bidding opportunities.

Website content is not a proposal, construction contract, employment agreement, or project-specific professional advice. Construction services or other work must be governed by a separate written agreement signed by authorized representatives.

Submitting a form, contacting the company, requesting bidding access, or downloading information does not by itself create a client, contractor, subcontractor, partnership, employment, confidential, or other contractual relationship.

Project and News Information

Project descriptions, photographs, renderings, awards, dates, schedules, team roles, and news items are provided for general informational and historical purposes.

Information may be summarized or updated over time and may not describe every part of a project. Photographs and renderings may be illustrative. Past project experience does not guarantee a particular outcome on another project.

Website content does not replace official plans, specifications, contracts, public records, or information supplied directly by a project owner or another authorized party.

Contact C.T. Brayton if you need current information about a project or service.

Website Forms and Submissions

You may use website forms to submit genuine contact, career, and bidding-related information.

You are responsible for making sure that:

  • The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You are authorized to provide the information
  • Your submission does not violate another person’s rights
  • Files do not contain malicious code or unrelated harmful material

Submitting information gives C.T. Brayton permission to review, use, store, and share it as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was submitted and as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Unless C.T. Brayton has agreed otherwise in writing, submitting information through a public form or regular email does not create a confidential, privileged, or professional relationship.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, payment-card information, banking information, personal passwords, medical information, trade secrets, or confidential project materials unless C.T. Brayton specifically requests them through an approved method.

Bidding Information and Resources

The Bidding area may provide bidder registration, opportunity listings, project information, document downloads, third-party file services, and password-protected materials.

Unless official bidding documents specifically state otherwise:

  • Joining a bidder list is not the same as submitting a bid
  • Completing a registration form does not submit project pricing or bid documents
  • Registration does not establish eligibility or prequalification
  • Requesting access does not guarantee that access will be granted
  • Downloading documents does not guarantee selection or a contract award
  • Website summaries do not replace official plans, specifications, notices, instructions, deadlines, or addenda

You are responsible for reviewing and following the official bidding documents for each opportunity.

If website information conflicts with an official solicitation, addendum, bid instruction, or project document, the official document controls.

A website interruption, unavailable download, or technical problem does not automatically change a deadline. Contact the project representative promptly and follow the instructions provided for that opportunity.

Private Bidding Access

Passwords, private links, and other access methods are intended only for authorized recipients.

You may not:

  • Share a password or private link publicly
  • Allow an unauthorized person to use your access
  • Attempt to access another restricted area
  • Bypass or interfere with an access control
  • Distribute restricted materials beyond their permitted audience
  • Use private materials for an unrelated purpose

Additional confidentiality, use, or distribution requirements may appear in an invitation, bidding document, nondisclosure agreement, or other project-specific instruction. Those requirements control if they conflict with these website Terms.

Downloads

You may download or print materials when the website or applicable project instructions permit it.

You are responsible for confirming that you have the current version of a document, including any revisions or addenda. Do not remove ownership notices or distribute restricted materials beyond their authorized audience.

Downloaded files may be subject to additional terms supplied with the document, by the project owner, or by the service hosting the file.

Career Submissions

You may use the Careers page to submit genuine information about your qualifications and interest in employment.

Submitting a résumé or career inquiry does not guarantee an interview, response, employment offer, or future opportunity. It does not create an employment relationship or employment contract.

Only submit résumé materials that you are authorized to provide. Applicant information will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the website to:

  • Break the law or violate another person’s rights
  • Impersonate another person or organization
  • Submit false, misleading, harmful, or unlawful material
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to damage the website
  • Interfere with the website’s operation, security, or availability
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted content, servers, or systems
  • Collect personal information from other visitors without authorization
  • Use automated activity that places an unreasonable burden on the website
  • Use website content in a way that falsely suggests C.T. Brayton’s approval, sponsorship, or endorsement

These restrictions are not intended to prevent the lawful use of assistive technology, browser privacy features, or ordinary search-engine indexing that does not harm or interfere with the website.

C.T. Brayton may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, its visitors, private materials, or related systems.

Intellectual Property

Website text, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, designs, plans, and documents may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Content may belong to C.T. Brayton, a project owner, photographer, architect, designer, public agency, vendor, or another rights holder.

You may view the website and make reasonable copies for personal, informational, or authorized bidding and business purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership.

Unless permitted by law or authorized in writing by the appropriate rights holder, you may not commercially reproduce, republish, sell, modify, or create misleading uses of protected website content.

Third-Party Services and Links

The website uses or links to services operated by other companies. These may include Microsoft Forms, Dropbox, Google Maps, Google Fonts, UserWay, WPForms, WP Engine, Cloudflare, social media platforms, and websites operated by clients or project partners.

Third-party terms and privacy practices may apply when you use those services. C.T. Brayton does not control a third party’s content, security, availability, or independent handling of information.

A link does not necessarily mean that C.T. Brayton endorses every statement, product, or service offered on the linked website.

Website Availability and Accuracy

C.T. Brayton works to keep the website useful and current but does not promise that it will always be available, complete, accurate, secure, uninterrupted, or free from errors or harmful code.

The website may be changed, suspended, or unavailable for maintenance, security, technical, or other operational reasons.

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis. This does not change any express warranty or obligation contained in an official bidding document or separate signed agreement.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, C.T. Brayton will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising solely from access to, use of, or inability to use this website, third-party services, or downloaded materials.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, violation of law, or another responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

These Terms also do not change rights or remedies provided by an official bidding document, separate signed agreement, or applicable law.

Privacy and Accessibility

Please review the following pages for more information:

These Terms do not waive or limit privacy, accessibility, or other rights that cannot legally be waived.

Governing Law

These website Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of California.

A separate signed agreement, official bidding document, employment document, or mandatory law may contain different terms governing a particular relationship or dispute.

Severability

If part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

C.T. Brayton may update these Terms when the website, its features, or its practices change.

Revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new Last Updated date. Revisions apply to website use beginning on the stated effective date. Additional notice will be provided when required by law.
