Dreamcatcher Logo Installed as Ripon High CTE Center Nears Completion

Construction of the new Career Technical Education (CTE) Center at Ripon High School is approaching completion, bringing the district one step closer to expanding hands-on learning opportunities for students.

A significant milestone was reached this week with the installation of the school’s recognizable Ripon High School dreamcatcher logo on the exterior of the new two-story facility.

The new CTE Center is being constructed by C.T. Brayton & Sons and is designed to support a variety of career-focused educational pathways, including:

• Agricultural Science
• Agricultural Business
• Diesel Mechanics
• Software & Systems Technology
• Patient Care and Healthcare Pathways

Located near the existing agricultural education facilities on campus, the building is expected to serve students across multiple disciplines while providing modern learning environments tailored to workforce development and career readiness.

Preparing Students for Future Careers

The Career Technical Education Center represents an investment in both education and workforce preparation, creating opportunities for students to gain practical experience and industry-relevant skills before graduation.

According to Andy Strickland, Director of Facilities & Operations, the project continues to move steadily toward completion.

“We’re getting there,” Strickland said.

Construction Progress Continues

Construction on the new two-story facility began in November 2022 and has continued to advance toward its anticipated opening.

Once complete, the center will provide students with dedicated instructional spaces designed to support technical education, career exploration, and hands-on learning opportunities that align with today’s workforce needs.

The district hopes to have the facility ready for students by the start of the upcoming school year.
