Confined Spaces on a construction site can come in many different forms. These are areas that have an opening large enough for a worker to enter with limited or restricted means of entry or exit and not designed for continuous occupancy. We may encounter them in excavations, electrical vaults, storage tanks, sewers, and many other situations. This month’s training focused on identifying these spaces and recognizing the potential for danger such as hazardous atmospheres as well as entry procedures and rescue plans.
