RIPON – The crew of W.C. Maloney, Inc. has been paving the way for construction to begin soon at Weston Elementary School.
The Stockton-based professional wrecking and site-clearing contractors began demolition of the Ripon Unified campus about a month ago.
This process was one of the many moving parts of the voter-approved Measure G project.
“It’s been quite a process,” said Superintendent Bill Draa on Thursday.
One of the moving parts is the series of meetings involving RUSD officials – included is the team of Program Management Integration, general contractor C.T. Brayton & Sons of Escalon, and architect Timothy Huff & Associates of Modesto – with the various agencies for this lease-leaseback project budgeted at $10.4 million.
