SACRAMENTO – This past weekend, our very own Senior Project Manager, Deanna Shirlock, ran the California International Marathon. C.T. Brayton & Sons sponsored Deanna, and her sister, in the 26.2 mile endeavor. Deanna qualified to run in the 2018 Boston Marathon with a completion time of 04:07:43. Congratulations, Deanna!

Los Banos Rural Health Clinic
The Los Banos Rural Health Clinic was an improvement to an existing building. The scope of the project included the demolition of all interior finishes and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Structural supports were added to adhere to the new space configuration.

Foster Farms – Walnut Ave Hatchery
This project renovated the existing Foster Farms Walnut Ave Hatchery, a 20,000 square foot chicken hatchery, and also constructed a 5,000 square foot addition. The renovation included incubation and hatching equipment, HVAC and electrical upgrades, egg storage, poultry area, and office space.

Foster Farms – Water Recovery System
This project includes installing new equipment at the existing wastewater pond to filter the water to be used in non-potable applications. An approximated 1,400 feet underground pipeline from the pond to the plant was also installed, which connected to the rooftop in various areas of the plant.

Foster Farms – Spiral Freezer
This project was for a 2,600 square foot, a 40 foot tall steel structure with an insulated metal panel enclosure, known as the Spiral Freezer. The Spiral Freezer is used during deli operations. The scope of the project included electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work associated with the new freezer.
