The Memorial Parking Garage 1 was a particular challenge because of several complicating factors. Since the garage was built in proximity to the helipad, extra precautions were taken when Medi-Flight helicopters entered or exited airspace. Deliveries for the hospital were coordinated weekly. It took 9 months to complete and cost $6 Million.
