STOCKTON – The official ribbon cutting ceremony for Quail Lakes Elementary School was held on September 22, 2020. In 2019, the school District elected to name the school Flora Arca Mata Elementary School in remembrance of the first Filipino-American teacher in California history. Those in attendance included Flora Arca Mata’s family, the school’s Principal and Vice Principal, among other prominent figures.
